Melissa Connor-Santos is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst that has worked in the field of applied behavior analysis and education for over 15 years. Melissa completed her initial behavior analytic training at the Alpine Learning Group and was mentored by Dr. Bridget Taylor. She is currently finalizing a doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Endicott College under the advisement of Dr. Mark Dixon and conducting research in ethics and in the applications of acceptance and commitment therapy. Melissa has worked extensively in public and private schools providing consultation, evaluation and staff training, as well as in the home providing individualized treatment programs and parent consultation. 

 

Melissa currently holds a full-time faculty position at the School of Education at Felician University. She also serves as an adjunct professor in the Institute of Applied Behavior Science at Endicott College. Melissa specializes in the application of applied behavior analysis in public schools, the transition to adulthood, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and compassionate, collaborative consultation approaches to improve individual and systems wide outcomes. Additionally, Melissa is a certified advanced level practitioner (Level 5) in the Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Treatment process, with pending certification as a Train-the-Trainer certified professional.
